Braised Tofu and Egg with Porridge

Ingredients

2-3 eggs
1 block of firm tofu
0.5 cup of rice grains
700ml of water (depending on your preference of the consistency)

How to cook

Braised Toufu and Eggs

Step 1
Pour Chew Kee Traditional Braised Sauce into a pot and bring it to a boil.

Step 2
Cut the tofu into cubes.

Step 3
Boil the eggs separately in a pot of hot water for 8-12 mins.

Step 4
Remove from hot water and place in a bowl of ice water for 5 mins before peeling the shells.

Step 5
Add the tofu and boiled eggs to the sauce.

Step 6
Simmer for 30-35 minutes and serve with porridge.

Porridge

Step 4
Place rice with water into a separate pot and boil to desired consistency.
